CIE offers CAD facilities utilising Solidworks tools to produce detail drawings to the most specific customer requirement. Our design capability allows us to develop innovative and cost-efficient solutions for the Oil and Gas Industry.  Moreover, CIE has the ability to conduct initial FEED studies, which include Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Bills of Materials and Certifying Authority Reports.

Qualification of Design 

For specific regulatory applications CIE produces detail drawing and calculation packages for Independent Design Review and certification by an Independent Competent Body [ICP] to assist duty holder responsibilities in accordance with the requirements of Statutory Legislation.

FEED Study

Some of our recent projects include a FEED Study for a Deepwater Light Intervention System, specifically detailing hardware and electro / hydraulic control for the lubricator, pressure containment, emergency shutdown, and associated tree function interface. In addition, CIE propose the procedures required to gain class notation compatibility for vessel and operational equipment. This can include installed equipment design reviews through to final certification and the preparation of the vessel safety case, liaison with classification society.
